I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Industrial Engineering. While there, I was a member of an honorary engineering fraternity, and also a social fraternity/living group. I started work as a computer programmer/analyst, and continued on through a 32 year career in this field, now referred to as Information Technology (IT), ending up as a manager before retiring, when my employer was acquired in 2001. After a brief but informative stint as an EMT, I found my calling as an investor, financial writer, and income tax practitioner, specializing in investments. I attained Enrolled Agent status in 2015, and have worked the last six tax seasons for a national tax preparation firm. My career profile is available on LinkedIn. Below are photos of credentials and me as I present myself when working, i.e. dress shirt, tie, and jacket.
